All of the fine hand crafted gifts on this page are made with the same care and attention to details as our custom pens, using a similar process. We hand select choice pieces of hardwood, inspecting them for color, grain pattern, and structural integrity. Any piece that doesn't meet our high standards is either used to test ideas on or tossed on the scrap pile to be used around the shop. Each approved piece is then turned and finished individually on a traditional wood lathe with hand-held turning tools. Each comes off the lathe with its own genuine character - no automated duplicator or mass process affects its creation. The end result is a beautiful, one of a kind gift you can be proud to give;

Bottle Stoppers
Hand Turned Bottle StoppersThese decorative and functional bottle stoppers look great on display and when used to protect your favorite wine, oil, or vinegar. They make great gifts or wedding favors. The tops are hand turned and polished from a variety of domestic and exotic hard woods as well as colorful wooden laminates. The chrome plated cone has a ribbed silicone band to insure a tight seal in order to maintain the bottle's freshness. The wooden top unscrews from the cone to reveal a handy cork screw. |

Bird House Ornaments
Bird House OrnamentsThese adorable miniature birdhouse ornaments are equally at home hanging from a tree or on the included hand crafted base. Made from a variety of domestic and exotic hard woods, they're carefully turned on a lathe and polished by hand. The ornaments themselves range in width from 1" to 1-1/2" and in height from 3" to 5". The bases are 3/4" thick and approximately 3" in diameter. The actual woods used are determined by what material is available to me at the time of your order. The final shape of the ornaments varies based on the characteristics of the materials used and my mood when crafting them but generally follow the ones shown. Lamp/Fan Pulls
Hand Turned Lamp/Fan PullsI often hear customers exclaim "Oh, I can use these!" when they see these hand turned lamp/fan pulls and delve into the basket, searching through the different woods and shapes on display. Each pull comes with a 5" - 6" length of ball chain and matching connector. The ball chain is available in brass or nickel finish.
